More about Javier Senosiain,

"When I began my studies at the National School of Architecture at UNAM, during the first two semesters, I was fortunate to take projects with the teacher Mathias Goeritz. I was very motivated by his classes because he taught us to see spaces differently, to use colors, to deal with volumetry and with monumental. The second year, I chose to follow the subject of projects with the architect Ernesto Gómez Gallardo, whom I learned very valuable elements of architecture. I continued studying, like most of my classmates, with ups and downs, with sleeplessness, playing soccer and, sometimes, failing some subject. It was until the end of the race, during the thesis process, that at that time it was known as "The Encerrona", because you spent the days locked in a room developing the project, when I realized that I had to change the concept, because It consisted of a cultural and sports center that I was pigeonholed into orthogonal forms, when something that characterizes the sport is being fluid, then, suddenly, I changed the game for free forms that adapted to the curved forms of the terrain.

From that moment, the concern arose in my search for curved spaces, which I think are more human because they are part of the same nature. For several years, I focused on the investigation of the natural space of man, hence the organic house was born and, later, the book "Bio architecture". I was influenced by the works of Luis Barragán, Antonio Gaudí, Juan O ‘Gorman, Carlos Lazo and Frank Lloyd Wright, among others; At the same time, in the professional activity I have developed projects and constructions of different genres. My work at the Faculty in CU has been very enriching, because I have had the opportunity to live with several generations as a teacher, academic secretary, directing thesis and teaching the "Federico Mariscal Chair".

Much of my life has been an adventure through the meandering world of organic architecture."
