Arquitectos / AIA Illinois Fall 2022 Graduate Scholarship *DEADLINE EXTENDED*

Arquitectos Inc. & AIA: Illinois, are happy to announce the Arquitectos / AIA:

Illinois Fall 2022 Graduate Scholarship. This scholarship is in the amount

of $1,000.00 awarded to two (2) undergraduate applicants. Applicant eligibility as

follows:

o Applicants must be enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate student in the architecture

program of an accredited university.

o Be a student member of Arquitectos

(local chapter or online at www. arquitectosinc.org)

o Be of Hispanic or Latinx Heritage

These awards are offered to encourage excellence within the architectural

profession and to support architecture students who are members of Arquitectos.

Applications will be assessed by a committee made up of Arquitectos & AIA IL

using the following criteria:

o Personal Statement (50 - 100 Words Max)

o Outstanding academic performance (GPA)

o Contributions to Arquitectos (Student or Professional Chapters)

o Participation in other school organizations

o Community Involvement

o Compelling essay (500 -1,000 Words Max)

o Organization and presentation of the student’s submission
