Arquitectos / AIA: Illinois 2023 Academic Graduate Scholarship

Arquitectos Inc. & AIA: Illinois, are happy to announce the Arquitectos / AIA:

Illinois 2023 Academic Graduate Scholarship. The scholarship value is $6,000

each. Eligibility as follows:

• Applicants must be enrolled as a fulltime student in the architecture program of an accredited university.
• Be a student member of Arquitectos.
  
• Be of Hispanic or Latinx Heritage

These awards are offered to encourage excellence within the architectural

profession and to support architecture students who are members of Arquitectos.

Applications will be assessed by a committee made up of Arquitectos & AIA IL

using the following criteria:

• Personal Statement (50 - 100 Words Max)
• Outstanding academic performance (GPA)
• Contributions to Arquitectos (Student or Professional Chapters)
• Participation in other school organizations
• Community Involvement
• Compelling essay (500 -1,000 Words Max)
• Organization and presentation of the student’s submission
• Portfolio that expresses your abilities and creativity
