Arquitectos / AIA Illinois: Fall 2023 Academic Undergraduate Scholarship

Arquitectos Inc. & AIA: Illinois, are happy to announce the Arquitectos / AIA:

Illinois 2023 Academic Undergraduate Scholarship. The scholarship value is $3,000. Eligibility as follows:

• Applicants must be enrolled as a fulltime student in the Architecture focused

  Associate’s degree or Bachelor's degree.

• Be a student member of Arquitectos.
  
• Be of Hispanic or Latinx Heritage

This year we are also accepting nominations should mentors, educators and friends wish to send along contacts of eligible students to invite them to apply.

These awards are offered to encourage excellence within the architectural

profession and to support architecture students who are members of Arquitectos.

Applications will be assessed by a committee made up of Arquitectos & AIA IL

using the following criteria:

• Personal Statement (50 - 100 Words Max)
• Outstanding academic performance (GPA)
• Contributions to Arquitectos (Student or Professional Chapters)
• Participation in other school organizations
• Community Involvement
• Compelling essay (500 -1,000 Words Max)
• Organization and presentation of the student’s submission
